Biology professor to take asst. provost post at OCU

Kent Buchanan, professor and chairman of the biology department, will assume the position July 1. He has taught at OCU since 2006. A native of Oklahoma, Buchanan received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
