State experiences third straight month of lower tax collections

For the third straight month, collections to the Oklahoma Treasury took a dip based on lower gross production tax collections. Gross collections for August were down 2.8 percent from the same month last year. Oil and gas collections on production were down 53.7 percent for the month, while sales tax collections were up 10.4 percent.
