okcBIZ magazine announced the winners of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma competition on June 26, 2013 at its annual awards dinner at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel.
Oklahoma companies apply to the Best Companies Group (BCG) in Harrisburg, Pa., the program administrator. BCG then collects two surveys from participating companies: one from employers via their human resources department, the other from their employees directly. Employers complete a benefits and policies questionnaire, while employees take a 72-question survey. BCG analyzed the data collected and created this year’s Best Places to Work in Oklahoma lists. One list is for small and medium companies (fewer than 250 employees) and one list is for large companies (more than 250 employees).
okcBIZ Publisher, Jeffri-Lynn Dyer, said, “ Excellence in the workplace builds better companies, makes for happier employees and encourages continued growth. We are proud to do business in this state, and we are honored to highlight this year's group of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma.”
In partnership with Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, OKHR State Council, Oklahoma Departemt of Commerce, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and The State Chamber, join okcBIZ in our annual salute to those companies demonstrating continuing excellence in the workplace. Thanks to them, business in Oklahoma is more than merely OK - it's outstanding.
