Berry Energy Services leased 3,300 square feet in the Miller Jackson Building, 115 E. California in Bricktown. The building has frontage along the Bricktown Canal. Berry Energy services, a 7-year-old company, specializes in supplying frac sand for large oil and gas companies such a Schlumberger, Halliburton and Chesapeake Energy Corp. The company will move its administration offices and headquarters, currently located in Shawnee, to the Miller Jackson Building, and plans to open the office Sept. 1. Nick Berry, vice president, says he plans to expand with eight additional employees in the next 12 to 18 months. Operations for Berry Energy Services are based in Wisconsin. Mexican grocery store chain Supermercados Morelos has signed on to open a store at New City Center, 621 N. Moore Ave. in Moore. The stores carry a variety of products from Mexico, and the Moore location also will offer a wide-range of American groceries. The store will feature a deli, bakery and extensive meat and produce selections. It is set to open with 12,262 square feet in August. This will be the chain’s fifth location.
