A website created by the Oklahoma Bioscience Association launched recently to connect bioscience employers and bioscience professionals looking for work. Job seekers can post their resumes online and receive alerts about openings.
Those looking for jobs also have the option of posting their resumes anonymously. It is meant to reach job seekers locally, regionally and nationally. The site is designed for OKBio members and others in the bioscience industry to advertise to a larger audience. OKBio members will receive a 20-percent discount on job posting packages.
“This tool is the first of its kind for Oklahoma, and is yet another way to continue growing the bioscience industry in our state,” said OKBio President and CEO Sheri Stickley. “And with the member discount, OKBio member employers can post jobs through the Career Center for less than half of what they’d pay on other job sites.”
