By drawing and nurturing top talent, the lawyers and staff work as a team to meet and exceed client needs. If one lawyer sees that a colleague can help meet a client’s specific needs, they work together rather than build walls.

And while McAfee & Taft lawyers often defend the big guy and big business, Neese says that’s a good thing.

“We defend the big guy, who is often vilified,” he says. “But they keep jobs in the market.”

In describing the firm, Neese says “aggressive” is a good description.

He says that approach involves looking for the best way to achieve maximum results for clients and always looking for ways to make the law work for clients and to ensure their interests are protected.
