“We are extremely pleased to see Mark’s commitment, professionalism and experience recognized by his peers and AGC,” said Tom Maxwell, president and CEO of Flintco, LLC. “Mark’s leadership has helped change the landscape of downtown Oklahoma City and the overall growth of our great state.”

Grimes recognition as “Builder of the Year” is the highest honor given to an individual by the organization and recognizes an industry leader each year who exemplifies the AGC’s attributes of skill, integrity and responsibility. Grimes received this honor for his more than 30 years of dedication and commitment to the construction industry.
“This is a tremendous honor for me personally and professionally,” Grimes said. “AGC’s mission of leading the way through the use of skill, integrity, responsibility and quality is one I take very seriously, and I am honored and humbled to receive this award.”

AGC recognizes members' accomplishments through awards programs that highlight excellence in industry initiatives. The Build Oklahoma Award specifically targets general and specialty contractors working as prime contractors in four categories – commercial, industrial, institutional and public works. Commercial entries such as Flintco’s were judged on complexity, difficulty of scheduling and overall quality demanded of the project.
