The five-year prime contract is in excess of $50 million. The company will hire at least an additional 45 employees.  By March 1, the company will have nearly 600 employees.

DRG will provide academic and training device instruction and courseware development support for the F-15E Formal Training Unit at Seymour Johnson, AFB NC and academic and training device instruction at various Air Force bases throughout the United States for the F-15E, F-15C, F-16 and the F-22A. DRG has partnered with Boeing for the effort.

“We are extremely honored to have been chosen as the prime contractor on the ACC Fighter training contract,” said Phil G. Busey Sr., Chairman and CEO. “This expands our service base to many of today’s USAF aircraft and fighter platforms. We attribute our growth and proven capabilities to the great employees DRG has around the nation.

“We are pleased to continue our established relationship with Boeing,” said Busey.

This is the third highly technical training contract awarded to the Oklahoma City-based company. DRG provides E-3 Mission Crew Training at Tinker AFB and Command and Control training based at Langley, AFB VA and throughout the United States. DRG provides training support services on ten military aircraft.

Transition for the contract has started and the contract will begin March 1st.

Clay Stanley, vice president of program management and procurement will oversee transition of the contract.

“This ACC fighter contract will serve as a platform for the continuation of our rapid growth in the industry and it provides DRG the opportunity to continue supporting our nation’s service members,” said Stanley. “It is a key strategic win for DRG and it validates the dedication and hard work that our team put into the effort. “

DRG secured over $250 million worth of contract work in 2011.  The latest contract award totals over $300 million in just over the last year.

DRG is an Oklahoma City-based defense contractor. With 35 locations around the world and over 500 employees, the company has become a premier provider of training support operations for many of today’s advanced military aircraft and Air Combat Command’s Command and Control functions.

Founded by Phil G. Busey Sr. in 2002, the company trains over 20,000 military students annually. DRG is now the largest defense contractor headquartered in the State of Oklahoma for USAF training services.
