AIA Oklahoma honors TAP Architecture

TAP Architecture’s design for Homeless Alliance WestTown Campus received an Honor Award for Restoration Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse from the American Institute of Architects Oklahoma chapter at their awards banquet on November 3.

TAP’s design transformed two neglected light industrial metal buildings into a sparkling, inviting and respectful campus where homeless and near-homeless families in Oklahoma City may receive food, day shelter and assistance from social service agencies.

TAP is grateful to AIA Oklahoma for this award and to the Homeless Alliance for entrusting us with this special project, which is likely to become a national model for homeless social services.
