-Oklahoma gasoline price average – up $1.00 from Sept. 1, 2010 to $3.55 today (Sept. 1, 2011)
-U.S. gasoline price average – up $.95 from Sept. 1, 2010 to $3.63 today (Sept. 1, 2011)
-Total Oklahoma travelers (all modes) – down 2% to 371,000
-Total U.S. travelers (all modes) – down 2.4% to 31.5 million
-U.S. auto travelers – up 0.5% to 27.3 million
-U.S. air travelers – down 1.9% to 2.5 million
-Expected distance traveled (national average) – down 4% to 608 miles
-Expected amount spent on trip (national average) – up 0.7% to $702
-Lowest round-trip airfares (national average) – up 13% to $202
-Average room rate at AAA-rated Three Diamond hotels/motels (nationwide) – up 6% to $148 per night
-Average room rate at AAA-rated Two Diamond hotels/motels (nationwide) – up 8% to $110 per night
-Weekend daily car rental rates (national average) – down 7% to $43.
