OCU chooses five business leaders for Hall of Honor


Each will be honored at a luncheon in November


Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business has chosen five business leaders to induct to the Oklahoma Commerce & Industry Hall of Honor.

Inductees include:

  • Martha A. Burger, senior vice president of human and corporate resources for Chesapeake Energy, receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award;
  • Stan Clark, president of Stan Clark Companies (which owns Eskimo Joe’s), receiving the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award;
  • H.E. Gene Rainbolt, chairman of BancFirst Corp., receiving the Chairman’s Award;
  • John Richels, elected president and chief executive officer of Devon Energy, receiving the President’s Award; and
  • Lee Allan Smith, chairman of Oklahoma Events and former vice chairman of Ackerman McQueen, receiving the Paul Strasbaugh Lifetime Achievement Award.
The inductees will be honored at the 25th annual Oklahoma Commerce & Industry Hall of Honor luncheon 11:30 a.m. Nov. 3 at Cox Business Services Center.
