United Airlines will begin nonstop daily service between Oklahoma City and San Francisco Aug. 29. United Express carrier SkyWest Airlines will operate the flights on a 66-seat Canadair CRJ7 regional jet.

Flight 6241 will leave Oklahoma City daily at 7:14 a.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 8:50 a.m. The daily return flight will leave San Francisco at 4 p.m. and arrive in Oklahoma City at 9:16 p.m. Of the 66 seats, six will be first class, 28 in economy plus, and 32 in economy.

“The addition of United’s nonstop service to San Francisco is really great news for Oklahoma City. It is a market for which we have long sought service because of the strong travel options it provides our business and leisure travelers,” says Mark Kranenburg, airport director for Will Rogers World Airport.
