AAA predicts 17.1 percent jump in July 4 travel over last year
An estimated 34.9 million travelers will take a trip at least 50 miles from home this Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The estimated 34.9 million travelers taking a trip at least 50 miles from home this Fourth of July holiday weekend is a 17.1 percent increase over the same period last year, according to AAA Oklahoma.
AAA also expects more Oklahomans to travel this year, as an estimated 541,300 will drive or fly this year, a 13.-percent jump from 2009.
