For OKC buildings of business, that retro style makes for some sweet-looking suites



Maybe it\'s all the love for TV\'s \"Mad Men,\" but there\'s something about retro that just feels right - especially when it comes to architecture.

Maybe it's all the love for TV's "Mad Men," but there's something about retro that just feels right - especially when it comes to architecture.

Oklahoma City office buildings of yesteryear may have been designed with an eye toward the future, even if that vision of the future never came to fruition. However, that space-age aesthetic can be appreciated even more today than when the last brick was laid. Thus, a look that's so 1959 can be in vogue in 2009 ... and beyond.

With a hint of kitsch and a handful of cool, we've jetted around the metro to find some of the city's snazziest structures of the Atomic Age - or those inspired by them.

Some are near-icons; others are true hidden treasures.
