Co-owner and marketing director of David Fitzgerald & Associates
At 31, McNeese is co-owner and marketing director of David Fitzgerald & Associates. She handles all the commercial photography firm's marketing and sales.
Under her leadership, the company has earned several American Advertising Federation awards, including two Silver Merit Awards in 2004 and a Tenth District Silver ADDY last year. McNeese was named Oklahoma City Ad Club Member of the Year in 2004 and has served as a board member for the club since 2001.
She is the sponsorship chair for the Association of Women in Communications.
She is a former ambassador with the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman's Club of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to co-owning David Fitzgerald & Associates, McNeese spent two years as an account executive for The Norman Transcript; she also worked as an account executive at The Edmond Sun for five years, bringing in ad sales ranging from $30,000 to $50,000 a month.
In her spare time, McNeese prepares meals and delivers them to St. Monica's Catholic Church to be brought to new mothers, sick members and bereaved families. She also supports several charities, including the American Cancer Society.
McNeese discovered she had more than a knack for sales while working on her student newspaper at the University of Central Oklahoma.
"I worked as advertising director/sales person/graphic designer for The Vista newspaper," she said. "My ad sales doubled the size of the newspaper, which at that time was the largest the newspaper had ever been."
When she turns 40, McNeese said she hopes to look back and see much of what she already has is still thriving.
"I hope to have maintained the current success of our photography studio, expanded our family and have a good balance between the two," McNeese said.
