Chesapeake Midstream Partners hires new CFO



David C. Shiels is Chesapeake Midstream Partners new chief financial officer.

David C. Shiels has been hired as Chesapeake Midstream Partners' chief financial officer. Chesapeake Midstream operates Chesapeake Energy Corp.'s holdings in the Barnett, Permian and Mid-continent natural gas assets.

 

Shiels will oversee finances surrounding the recent joint venture with Total E&P USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of French oil company Total S.A. The joint venture is for assets in the Barnett Shale, which is under Chesapeake Midstream Partners' management.

 

Shiels previously held financial and operational leadership positions from 1987 to 1996 at ConocoPhillips.
