You get super service and food here. It's always nice to return and see consistency. I don't go out for lunch that often, but when I do, I say, "Meet me at Shartel Caf� at 11:30." It's my favorite place! You can't go wrong with the grilled chicken Caesar wraps, stuffed with deliciously marinated chicken. They are fantastic!

Stella is still pretty new, but it's already a superior place for MidTown or anywhere in the city. Any of the fish dishes are great, and the food is almost as attractive as the owner, Lori Tyler! She oversees it all, from cooking to serving as ma�tre d'. She checks everything coming out of the kitchen.

These are two of the best places in town, owned by Cathy and Sean Cummings. My wife, Miki, and I enjoy restaurants where the owners are on the premises, which applies to all my picks. That way, you get that personal touch and an intimate dining experience. At Sean's, get a glass of Harp Lager, which is on tap. At Vito's, go for the Fat Tony's and add meatballs.
