Oklahoma Christian University officials announced June 24 the school will offer its first completely online degree.
OC’s master of business administration degree students have the options of online, on site or blended curriculum to earn the 36 credit-hour degree.
The online MBA degree can be completed in one year. Online classes are seven weeks long and follow the same class schedule, use the same textbooks, and take the same breaks as do the on site classes. While online MBA students have greater flexibility to manage their busy schedules, they will still experience the academic rigor of a high-quality graduate education.
“Early student evaluations for our online classes have been very positive,” Ken Johnson, director of graduate business studies, said. “Adding online courses to the MBA curriculum was a direct result of our students’ request for flexibility and scheduling options. The professors have embraced the challenge of developing these online courses to be practical, personal and academically rigorous. Online or on site, I believe our classes are on target.”
Tuition and fees for the MBA degree are identical whether online or on site.
