University of Oklahoma students raised $34,000 for Children’s Hospital Foundation at OU’s 16th Dance Marathon. This year’s version of the largest student-run philanthropic fundraising event in Oklahoma included a children’s carnival, sports tournaments, dancing, entertainment and free food.
Students participated from 4 p.m. Feb. 12, until midnight Feb. 13 at OU’s Huston Huffman Center.
“OU Dance Marathon is a unique combination of philanthropy and leadership, uniting students from across campus for a night of fun and inspiration, while raising money for Children’s Hospital Foundation,” said Danielle Bourgeois, Dance Marathon chair.
Online donations will still be accepted until the end of the month at helpmakemiracles.org/event/ou.
