Come on Down, by Lisa Hoke Dec. 13-31
New York sculptor Lisa Hoke will feature a site-specific mural installation at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art from Dec. 13-April 13. It is described as a monumental wall frieze, measuring 15 feet high and spanning more than 150 feet and incorporating an assortment of everyday materials. Chickasha Festival of Light Dec. 1-31
Take a short drive southwest on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike to Chickasha for the annual Festival of Light. The 43-acre Shannon Springs Park is adorned in thousands of Christmas lights. It’s open to visitors 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 31. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. OKC Pops: The Christmas Show Dec. 5-7
Join the OKC Philharmonic for the OKC Pops yearly holiday spectacular. Joel Levine is the music director, and Lyn Cramer is the show director. It stars George Dvorsky and Gwendolyn Jones.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m.
