Kirkpatrick joins DOKC Inc.

In his role at DOKC, he will serve as director of operations and will
manage the BID, security and maintenance for the Underground – previously known
as the Conncourse – oversee the Bricktown Canal and help launch new programs
and initiatives focused on density, transportation and business development.

“I’m eager to work with the Downtown community in a new way,”
Kirkpatrick said. “I’ll be communicating directly with the BID board of directors
to implement new services that have been requested by Downtown stakeholders in
past planning efforts.”

Kirkpatrick is from Wichita, Kan., and has a dual master’s degree in city
and regional planning, and geography from Ohio State University

to the next level. It is a nonprofit formed in 2001 to organize and promote Downtown in conjunction with property owners, businesses, residents and government

“His expertise will help DOKC provide even better benefits to BID
members, the various districts, and Downtown residents, employees and visitors,”
she said. “He’s a great resource and wealth of knowledge.”
